Project INTEGRA (training course)

In remote areas of Central and East Lombok, patients can receive medical checkups at the Posjandu primary care center. These checkups are performed by highly motivated but poorly educated young women (Kader). This impacts the health of the community.
This leads to slower recognition of symptoms, leading to patients missing or receiving necessary care too late. For example, pregnant women do not receive folic acid in early pregnancy, resulting in children being born with conditions such as spina bifida, cleft lip, and malnutrition.

With this new project, we aim to provide training to the women of the Posyandu. Project INTEGRA aims to improve the knowledge level of the women in the Posyandu. This will allow for earlier and more effective medical screening.
We are offering a 25-module training program for 50 female staff members from the various Posyandus in Central and East Lombok. The training will be delivered by a certified trainer.

What does this collaboration look like?

Yayasan Gentle Care Foundation Indonesia has approached Wilde Ganzen with our detailed idea.
It also includes a plan to raise money to carry out the project.

Wilde Ganzen helps with this: they make one and a half euros of every euro that is collected. Wilde Ganzen receives this money from their donors. This way they help our project to stand on its own two feet.
